this is the first draft for the story I originally planned:

First draft:

Storytelling

McGuffin – 9: A Priceless necklace

Genre – Adventure, Comedy

Character (s) – teenagers (16-19), 2 kids (9-11)

Central Problem to overcome – the obstacles to get to the necklace

Location – Kids (Home, corridor to the parents bedroom), teenagers/ young adults (…)

Small ideas:

Trying to get the necklace but it seems a little too easy. -> getting to the necklace is easy, escaping with the necklace is the hard part.

Ending the necklace was priceless... in the past

How the problem is overcome -> Kids plot (the kids have to quietly leave the room without the parents knowing that they were there

The outcome

Kids outcome 1: the parents were downstairs and heard the little whispers and footsteps and knew of their plan the whole time so they swapped the necklace

this story scene was inspired by 'fifth element' and 'armour of gold'

Another idea (Final Idea):

Location: Museum (Queen’s House)

Character (s) – a princess (or someone from the royal family), a person who is living in poverty and became a thief to survive (or a famous thief that goes around stealing but is never caught)

Central Problem to overcome – the thief (or person living in poverty) trying to find the location of the necklace before the time runs out. UPDATE: the poor man ties to find the room where the necklace is kept

Genre - …no clue

The outcome:

Outcome 1 – the princess sympathises with the person and asks for the necklace back in exchange for money to help build themselves a better life

Outcome 2 – the princess hears what the thief has said but chooses to get him arrested because they have been stealing in the past.

Final Outcome - no one happens what happens next, it is left on a cliff-hanger
