Self-Reflection

Final Self-Reflection On The Whole Animation Project

For the animating part of the whole project, I would say that I have improved in more ways than one such as my research, trying to project my thoughts out into words and finally being able to understand the fundamentals of using controls on a rig to try and get a smooth animation.

What I have learned and have started to understand from my previous animations as well as other animation projects I have when it comes to actually animating with the actual rigs is that I should stop thinking of the controls on the rig as multiple separate controls and think of it as one unified control to get a smooth animation while animating I have realised that the body controls for the rig is meant to move like an instrument which is in sync with one another than think of it as multiple different animations happening at the same time in one animation.

Although for my current final animation project, my character is pretty much in the same crouched position for the whole duration of the animation with a lack of exaggerated emotions than I would've liked, if I could do anything to improve this project it would be to try and find a way around the audio sounding emotionless to me and try to bring it to life with some emotions from body language to facial expressions.
