Recording Footage of Bouncing Ball

Below are footages of a ball bouncing in slow motion:

Ball bouncing (dropped)

From this footage, you can see the little impact when the ball meets with the table as well as a bit of squash and stretch at the moment of the ball bouncing off the table.

In the footage above, the squash and stretch is more visible in this video as it is in slow motion, it is most visible when the ball makes contact with the surface, the table.

2 Ball Contact

With the 2 ball contact animation it is important to try as best as possible to replicate the reference with the help of the timeframe on the corner of the video.

3 Dimensional Animation of 2 Ball Contact

With this animation, the most challenging part for me was to try and accurately get the timing right and to try replicate the reference frame by frame.

A problem I came across while animating the 2 ball contact is that the second ball, the beach ball seemed like it was floating instead of actually bouncing off the bowling ball and connecting with the ground but I managed to solve the solution by tweaking the graph for the ball in "graph editor".
