Different balls bounce at different rates depending on the weight of the ball, the bounce of a ball can also differentiate, for example, if you dropped a ball, the bounce would be lower compared to if you decide to bounce the ball because of the added force that has transferred from you to the ball.

Bouncing Ball with Travel
For the exercise of animating a bouncing ball travelling, I used one of my previous 2D animations as a reference to help me with the 3D animation. The difference with the two animations is that unlike the 2D animation, I needed to add rotation to the ball as it bounces since a ball does not stay in the same position.
The only fault I had while producing the animation is the speed of the rotating ball, if it was too fast or too slow then it would not be realistic.
