Industry Feedback

In this section, I will be talking about the feedback I received from my mentor and how I was able to improve on my animation.

Jackie Chan Animation

(Summer Animation)

As I had mentioned in my development section, the Jackie Chan inspired animation was created as a way for me to test out the dynamic of timing and I thought the reference I used was perfect for that.

I managed to get into contact with my mentor from year 2 'Vytautas Puisys', through LinkedIn and sent him a link to my syncsketch which is where I uploaded the animation to receive feedback.

With the feedback I received, I took on the feedback and started to make corrections with its guidance as well as some of the things I also noticed that I may not have noticed before and corrected some parts of the animation.

Collab Animation

Another piece of animation I asked to receive feedback on is a collab animation I was doing for another animation student on their final project, I wanted to receive feedback for this animation because I felt like something was off but also wanted to get another fresh point of view which is why I got into contact with 'Toby Winder' and sent him a link to the exported animation on syncsketch.

With the feedback I received, I took on some of the feedback as others I could not use such as using real life footage and started to make corrections with its guidance as polish the animation in preparation for the collab.
