At the beginning, of the project I gathered a series of lion footage to help with the lion animation.
For this animation I knew that the Lion animation would be a struggle for me as it is the first time I have animated an animal since in the past I have only animated people.
During the lion animation project, I came to realise that this lion animation would be a lot harder than I had initially thought it would be and
Throughout the lion animation process, I decided to make down notes of things I either forgot how to do, steps to fix certain problems and feedback I got from my dad as he was watching me do the animation.

As I continued to progress with this animation I still continued to look at more references of lions and tigers to see how exactly they move from different angles to be sure I am getting a clear reference.
Self reflection
Overall, with this lion animation project, I enjoyed experiencing a new rig of the lion which is very new to me and I believe for my first time with working with such rig the results may not be as great as how I pictured it to be but I am ok with knowing that everything will not be exactly as I pictured it to be. In my opinion I believe I have many things to improve on and learn when it comes to animation, this lion project has been an eye opener for me
Unreal Engine
14/3
For the Unreal Engine task, we were asked to create an environment for our lion animation, so because of this I decided to do some research and look into what kind of climate a lion lives in which seems like they live in different types of climates but prefer the "grassland, savanna, dense scrub, and open woodland" [4]

The unreal engine exercise was a very interesting exercise which I enjoyed doing because of how realistic the environment seemed which is what I aim to get hopefully by the end of the uni year.
The problems I faced while using Unreal Engine mainly came towards the end, I initially key framed camera points but they did not come out in the when I exported the video. I eventually realised the reoccurring mistake I was making while exporting the video and managed to successfully do it with the help of the tutorial and YouTube. The other problem I faced while exporting the video was realising that my video was pass the required time by over double the amount, I managed to solve this problem by partially cropping the end and speeding the video up using 'After Effects'.
