Push animation is quite similar but different to a walk animation, unlike a walk cycle which requires the character to just walk on the spot or from point A to point B, a push animation uses parts of the walking on the spot animation and uses personality in the animation to show whether it is a heavy object or a light object.

Weight Of An Object
While animating pushing a weighted object, you need to think about the size of the object and the weight of the object, the weight of the object will be shown by how you animate the character pushing the object as well as how far you make the object move.

Throughout the animation, the posture of your character will change and can drastically be different depending on the size of the objects being pushed. If the object is within eye-level of the character then the object could most likely be a heavier object than a object that is smaller which in most cases can easily be pushed.
